custom usb cable with colour?

sorry not too sure if this quite was the right category but mm I'm just curious if its a niche (compared to usb-a/usb-c custom cables seeming quite common, both coiled and not) but is there any place that would make short usb-a/usb-a cable in anything but black?

Any cable maker could, they probably don't list A-A as no-one wants them.  Mimic started on geekhack and still have a subforum with no complaints so I suggest you contact them.  Another option would be Pexon but he's in the UK so probably slower and more expensive shipping.

yeah thanks suicidal_orange I'll give it some thoughts when I'm ready to have a keyboard. worst thing is I could pinch these 'freebie' usb-c/usb-a dongles on the computer side (out of view basically) leaving me with still having an usb-a end up front so I'm not too worried :-)
