From the description, it should basically be the same thing as the 103U with the extra Windows key on the right hand side.

Other piece of trivia is notice how the Katakana lettering is added to the white version and not the black.  The HHKBs never have Katakana lettering.

Actually that's Hangul (Korean), not Katakana.

As with current models, I think there's probably an English version, and a seperate Korean version. I wouldn't read into the colours that are shown in the preview too much.

I want a ISO Realforce keyboard! To drill a hole into and put my trackpoint in!

Why isn't there any Topre keyboards with ISO layout? WHY?!

*sob* :´-( *sob*

Edit:
Ok.. I was wrong... There IS Realforce keyboards with ISO layout.

Now I just have to save up some money... and then I can get one of these and put a trackpoint in it... so I have two mechanical trackpoint keyboards, together with this one... ;)

There are Finnish ones, and Keyboardco is supposedly working on a UK one.

The Finnish and Swedish layouts are the same, even though the two languages are very different from each other.  Available here apparently, but I do not understand Finnish, so I don't know how to use the site, but maybe you could use Babelfish and Google Translate.

Yeah, Finnish is meant to be one of the hardest languages to learn...

Forgive my outsider ignorance, but I remember getting a game when I was on holidays in Denmark once, and the back had the game description translated in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish, and they looked like... the same language?

Yes, the three languages have evolved from the same origin. Most of the time we can understand easily what is spoken in one of the other languages, but I think that the languages are even more similar in written form. On the back of some packages of goods, there is even the same text for three languages, with two or three alternate words in a few instances where the languages differ, separated with a slash: "bla bla bla / bla bla".

There is a Swedish-speaking minority in Finland, but their dialect has words and speech patterns that are not found anywhere in Sweden. I think that most famous ethnic Swede from Finland among computer geek must be Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux kernel.

Interesting. In Ireland, the native Gaelic language is subdivided into a number of distinct dialects, all of which are relatively similar, but have distinct pronunciations, words and in some cases grammar constructs. For reasons that are largely political in nature, they are treated as the same language, which causes much consternation amongst school children who are forced to learn the dialect of their local area, and then somehow have to magically understand the dialect of the other side of the country in exams...

And then they wonder why French or German people speak much better English than we speak French or German, and like to ignore the fact that we wasted all our time learning some dead language no one ever uses.

This is really cool. Does it have any other special features we should be aware of?

Actually Elitekeyboards prices are cheaper than Japan's right now.  That's partly because he is selling obsolete Topre stuff.

Dongles in my pants? Obsolete? You're really trying hard to get my attention!

Distribution of RF boards is significantly higher in Japan & Korea currently than other parts of the world, so chances are that those distributors are getting better pricing than EK is; even on the 103Us (which aren't discontinued or obsolete; does a menu key really change the typing experience?).

My prices on RFs are low because of low overhead and because I perceive the best way to increase sales of RFs, in particular, is through word of mouth, so at the moment, I'd like to get more of them out there. EKs prices are really almost TOO good to be true:) I actually wish EK had some local competition on these boards, just so it would be plainly obvious how great the current pricing is.

If only us poor canadians could get them without paying additional customs fees. You should open a point of sale in Canada! ;-)

This is so true. I had my heart set on a Filco, but it would have cost me almost double what a Das Model S cost me in Canada. Ended up with the Das instead of the Filco.

Does anyone know if the mobile-phone charms are provided with every purchase or is it some sort of competition.
I really want one of those things.

u can't. but thekeyboardco.com will have a german layout keyboard soon, nothing is known about the price.

I'd probably go for the finnish version too because its so damn cheap, but for gaming I'd like a tenkeyless one with red/brown cherry switches, the most important thing is the uniform weight. I don't even 10 finger type, so that would just bother the hell out of me.

Hello, geekhack! I sent an e-mail to The Keyboard Company earlier this week. Here's their response:

Hi Victor.

Thanks for your email.
Yes we do plan for Topre switched keyboards.
Unfortunately the guys from HHKB have resisted all my advances and have
told us they do not want to deal with Europe at all. Topre themselves
are better though and we have signed a contract to sell their keyboards
in Europe.
We have placed an order and expect delivery late Novemeber or early
December. I am hoping to confirm delivery dates in the next few days.
In the first batch we have ordered the 105, Variable pressure model.
Black with Gold print and a Gold base plate. Topre Gold we're calling
it.
These will be available in UK, German, French and Swedish/Finnish
layout.
I am hoping I can get some USA Tenkeyless with the first batch as well.

Please let me know if I can help.

Regards

Bruce

TL;DR: Late November/early December they will get Realforce 105 variable force with UK/Ger/Fra/Swe/Fin layout, and possibly some USA Tenkeyless.
