I believe its in the geekhack wiki and yes... its yellow linears, the spring is awkwardly  strong, the switch actuates too early and u have to completely release the key to stop it from registering.

The second one is probably worth buying if its clicky, but...L-shaped enter and the small backspace... yuck
I rrrove brrracks.

I'm thinking the Big Font mechanical is being closed-out because it's a PS/2 model.  I was a little bummed I had to zip-tie a PS/2 adapter on the cord for my kids' computer.  You know how kids can be with wires.

My only complaint on the black ASK-6600 is the awkwardly shallow spacebar, but I think it's intentional, as it becomes very comfortable once you get used to it.

What kind of ALPs does the big font keyboard have? What's it like to type on?

Would be more fitting if they were whites.  If you're typing on a board with big letters you need to do it really loudly.

That's no excuse.  If you're going to type on Alps then the whole world has to listen to it.  I could have neutered the white switches in my board by removing the click leaf and making them linear, but that would have been as exciting as driving a Corolla.

I might have bought that ALPS keyboard if it didn't look absolutely retarded.

It looks better than anything you dived in a dumpster to get.

I have one for the kids.  They love it.  The sound is just like the ABS M1 which nobody here liked, I guess.  It's the traditional ALPS sound which is very similar to the ASK-6600 as well.  The keys are the typical wobbly feel.

It's much better than anything you'd find at Best Buy for the same price.  The only downside is the PS/2 connector.  I have not tested rollover becuase it doesn't matter.

I actually bought two of them and am probably going to get another at this price.
