Hello!
First post after approx. 1,5 weeks of lurking...

I'm considering getting myself a Topre Realforce from Verkkokauppa. I was a big fan of KeyTronics back in the 90's (actually I won two Ergoforce on Swedish eBay the other day...), so from what I've read around here I believe Topre should be something for me.
I read on Topre's homepage about the differential peak force with 30-55 grams and all that. Google Translate however gives me the feeling Verkkokauppa states something different, something about 45 and 33 grams?
Anyone with experience in the Finnish/Swedish Topre, the Finnish language or, preferably, both?

It seems this is my first post too after after a few weeks of lurking.

I have this board from Verkkokauppa. I don't speak finnish though and used Google Translate to order it. Neither do I have an easy way of measuring the weighting of the keys. What I can tell you though is the weighting is varied for the different keys, e.g. "a" "s" and "df" seem to require three different amounts of force.

The weighting feels quite similar to my Ergoforce and Lifetime Designer keyboards so if you liked those you will certainly like the 105UFB. The keyboard is far better built though and doesn't flex or clatter like the KeyTronics. You should go ahead and order it. :-)

Use nickels. Each one weighs ~5 grams. I'm pretty sure they call that the Ripometer around these parts.

I live in Sweden so I would have to go to a money exchanger to get nickles. Perhaps I could use Swedish coins but afaik none of them weigh 5 g which would make for more work than I am willing to do for answering that question...

None of the Euro coins are exactly in whole grams.

This amuses me greatly.

Harder to counterfeit? :becky:
