These seem to be cherry black. (per the description)

Yes. Actually for G80-3000, L"P"CEU means cherry black switches.

My bad, at first glance I thought it was the same as my g80 with blues.

Someone from a keyboard store in Taiwan told me that Cherry doesn't make white colored G80s anymore. That would explain why they're so rare.

I don't buy that. Plenty of -0 (light grey) boards in stock here. If there is anything out of stock, its -2 (black) models. Apparently a new shipment of DE layout -2 ones is expected next week (might save Christmas here and there).
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

He might have been specifically referring to the white colored G80-3000 with MX blues when he said they were out of production. From your post it sounds like that might not be the case. Regardless, this is still a rare find in the US.
