A New Benchmark for Keyboards? Delay time / Repeat Time etc.
« on: Thu, 16 December 2010, 20:12:07 »
Just got this little program to test your keyboards' delay time + repeat time etc.

It's in .exe (not a VIRUS, no installation needed, just extract & open)

Post your results + your keyboard model ?

My result is obtained from Microsoft X4 ( sold my Filco, so don't have a mechanical kb to test it with, hopefully you guys show me ! )

Make sure to anoint and pray to your skull key(s) before downloading and running binaries from web forums.

Lovely day for a GUINNESS

I wonder if you guys with razer keyboards can get a refund since they are suppose to have "ultra poling" and have a response rate of 1 ms XD

I hate mine, it was a present. The touch is terrible after 2 or 3 months.

dont worry! no keylogger / virus.

Of course i don't fully understand what those stats mean, just thought it's interesting.
but isn't that why i am here? to be educated by keyboard experts like you, "ripster"?

Actually I got a copy of this tool by mail today too from a contact at Zowie. He told me to check out some stats of my keyboards, since the Zowie (that I will be reviewing some time soon), has 8 different speed modes.

If its not a tool made by Zowie to debug said function, I assume it came from some Chinese keyboard forum.

Real pros hold down both of their shift keys while running this tool.
