Metal plate loose? Razer Blackwidow
« on: Thu, 20 January 2011, 15:36:21 »
Hi,

well.. i love my new mech.. buuuut theres a strange sound while typing, as if the metal plate on which the switches are soldered was loose on the right side.
It's louder while tiping on the numpad and almost gone on the left side..

It's as if i would flick my finger against my cpu-cooler-metal-thingy, whatever it is called in englisch i hope you know what i mean..

that can't be right? oô and i cannot open the damn thing up, i have to get rid of the rubber feet, right? -.- i don't want to do that tough.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Wow, thanks ripster :)
I read that article but not the glossary :P Felt i am to 1337 for that ;D

I would've never thought of that because as i said its louder on the right and quieter on the left, with everything interpolated inbetween :) Maybe acoustics? I don't care as long as it's ok for the keyboard to do that :P

I'm such a picky person, now i feel better.. if only i wouldn't have thrown the damn thing out of the window because i got no answer within 2 seconds!!

Naa, its safe and sound and clickety over here :D

Sorry for bothering, i now feel ashamed, that was very un-1337. I will now go read a book about windows ME to atone for what i have done.
