You all have been great.  I have learned more about keyboard in the last week than I have since I started using computers almost 35 years ago.  So now here's one for you.  I was looking at some pics of Filco keyboards that have had key swaps done on them, one was a white Filco with black keys and the other a black Filco with white keys.  I really like the look.  In a previous ppost I asked about a set of black keys too.  Well, I have another idea.  I was wondering about purchasing a Model M13 made by either Unicomp or  Lexmark and switching some of the keys.  (Someone on GeekHack gave me that idea here too.  Thanks to thee poster for that one.)   What I want to try is replacing just the alpha and numeric keys, leaving all of the control anf function keys as they are.  I was also thinking of replacing only the grey keys around the main typing area with the black ones too; Backspace, Enter, both Shift keys, both Control keys, Caps Lock and the Tab key.  This could be mixed and matched in so many ways.  Once done with each "mod" I would definitely post some pics.  I think both of these very minor mods would loog good.  So does anyone have a black M13 board or a full set of black keys I might be able to purchase?  Of course, if I were able to get a black keyboard, I would try it there too.  I see too many possibilities.

Maybe start a WTB thread in the classified section? I'm sure someone has one laying around somewhere and they'd be glad to sell you one :)
