Anyone know anything about this model ? CHERRY G80-0528.

NCR 3299-K420-V002

Possibly a 1980s model ?

It's got some LED windowed keys for capslock, scroll lock and numlock. Also has some extra keys to the left side.

It's also cherry mx black

Very interesting. Also unlike my G80-1295 HAU, where the top has 4 screws, and the bottom is clipped on; this G80-0528 has screws on the bottom as well.

I saw one of these going for sale for 65 USD.

Found a review of the G80-0528H

Quote
More keyboard, see blog

http://hi.baidu.com/gearedbyby/blog

87 year old guy

Is this it could find most of my old cherry factory keyboard, but also could not find out the identity of cherry, and had found it in Taobao, when the keyboard to check a lot of information, but it is not found Han, last look at the style and illuminated keycap keycap, basically the original can not go wrong, then hesitated closing down, it still looks quite the right decision, a good keyboard

Condition is very good, but very unfortunately, is the main keyboard number keys 6 Cap lost, for aesthetic reasons but to engage in a pbt's put up make up the numbers, the roof style and now the 3000 series'd quite like , but color is not white, gray cement. And look at the layout is a UNIX-system design, ctrl and cap lock position reversed, with the UNIX command line in when there is a lot of ctrl key combinations, it is now common to use than the keyboard layout of windows system in order to save the small finger of the multi- .

The back of the oem unlike the usual style of cherry, paste in the middle of the back of his plate, could not find the information cherry, fixation screws with the 8, it is in line with my preferences, on the buckle fixed abhorrence.

NCR nameplate information is even, it seems, are doing the early Lei Feng oem others without seeking recognition, the time you can see 87 years, dating back 22 years,

Side view, the gradient can be seen keycap great ergonomics are very good, very comfortable with it

Support up to look like feet, I like to use the keyboard up and said foot support

The location of the outlet cover with words, the original mold is really careful, this place is to write

Embedded into standard or separate, and do not know the mold is not a single bloom to the NCR model, if the common mold, then beat his own mark cherry is also embedded in a go do? Yy it, ha ha, than it is now a lot of cottage stickers can be strong

Weird cap lock position, ctrl also home to account for the position, but that'd nice to see the layout of the arrow keys, the digital area packed full to the brim of, esc F function keys have been pushed to mix a number of areas, enter is a large carriage, seen G80-2100 before this is the carriage return, but unfortunately no such large cherry enter their homes with big back configuration, both configurations can be large in the Han Great Wall of China-made keyboard can be seen. But having said alps keyboard'd Much axes are both large.

Cap color is not black and white two common color is gray and white bicolor, a cement gray, and gray is the cement cover matches, looking very comfortable, cover the keyboard is very comfortable matte look, while you can Aoao F keys to see more, are routed to the F30

Typical original two-color, deep dish design, Condition good, do not use signs, without shine

Lamp cap

Feet cherry rare style, the top rubber feet, guaranteed not to slip

8 large self-tapping screws

Leave a close-up

Open look, cover gray, white under the cover

The circuit board out, you can see a lot of plastic on the bottom keyboard support points.

On July 87, or sub-chapter cover, not out of plastic injection

Black-axis, gray two-color, and check the real body, G80-0528H, manufactured Germany, West Germany, looks like the old stuff like style with this black label

Philips MCU, 86 products on the shaft 35, the date of manufacture from the keyboard is also a year away, it seems, when manufacturing was not very fresh

One AT / XT switch

Nothing special on the back, is already 20 years ago this style of cherry, and it has nothing changes, pcb or so fine a line, or shop shop copper, the Germans are still very axis, should be improved to improve

Familiar with the delicious cherry

Enter too big, not enough of a balance bar, and had to weld the empty shaft when the balance shaft, the force did not fall on their own at the bottom of the axis, so there is certainly no spring the

Look at this from the back of the balance shaft, without the diode, and only one switch electrode, the other spot is obviously nothing

Caps Lock light axis

num lock and scroll lock lights shaft

Here there is also the alt-axis light is not illuminated, but Cap cap, chances are there cap lock in the side of the configuration, but also perhaps the key in the UNIX system to light

Lamp cap close-up, is also quite obvious dichroism

Super-long space is also great with the gray axis

The balance of the satellite axis wire with a black paint, looks naked wire than it is now more on the grade. Axis is with a diode, and a full keyboard without conflict.
22 years ago, but cherry style has been formed, and today is exactly the same, and look at the future can find more ancient cherry keyboard, and should be verified under the axis of the first ripe cherry mx when the keyboard is to begin production, but cherry what their records are always unknown, not knowing where to go research

Had a few of these. Sometimes appear on eBay for 1 Euro. Hate the layout. Keycaps are also of another off-grey shade and are not fully compatible with most modern Cherry boards. Beige is a slightly different shade, and the modifier grey is too.
