I'm thinking that I may actually go through a couple of boards narrowing down what I really, really want. There are currently some supply issues, especially in Canada, and I am cool with buying good condition used boards to save $$$$.
I have family vacationing in DESTIN,FL until part way through next week. If you're localish or can get a package there by mid-week I am interested. Remember I'm trying to save $$ too so $50 rush shipping isn't a great option for me unless the board is nearly free
Other than that I'd really like to try to find something within Canada to avoid the excess brokerage and tax usually charged when crossing the border.
I'm looking for MX Clears, MX Browns or Topre switches. I do not want MX blues, MX blacks or buckling springs (already have one).
My preferences, although flexible:
- USB (PS2 functionality would be nice)
- 6KRO minimum, nKRO preferred
- black
- US layout, english language keys (NOT blank keys)
- tenkeyless preferred but doesn't need to be compact (e.g. Noppoo, HHKB). I might decline some compact layouts if they don't meet my needs (like the HHKB).
- If Topre I prefer variable but will consider 55g
