Anyone else seen this/plays this game?

http://www.bloodlinechampions.com

I know a lot of people playing DoTA, LoL, and HoN have joined the community, so if you play any of those titles this is another worth checking out (much more fast-paced though). It's a fun team-based pvp game being developed for competitive play. It's free to play but with a cash store like most other f2p games.

I just started playing but got instantly hooked. Same in game name as my forum name, so feel free to hit me up and I can share my limited knowledge on the game so far (the learning curve is fairly steep for beginners).

Looks pretty interesting...free to play is always good, I'll give it a try!

When I first read the title, I thought it was a dog fighting game :p

I played it in beta.  But then they wanted to sell you characters and blah blah blah = LOL(league of legends)
Pretty fun, imagine dota without farming and uping the gamespeed.

I'm a pretty avid HoN player so I decided to give this a shot last week.  It was pretty neat, but I got bored quickly for some reason - the game was just lacking in same way for me.  It actually reminds me more of WoW arena than it does of dota/HoN though.

Yea I guess a comparison to DoTA/HoN/LoL is a little unfair as it lacks most of the core components of the game (creeps, towers, farm, etc.); however, everyone still seems to draw that comparison despite the major differences in mechanics.

It is similar to all these games in its art style, isometric view, and that it is team-based pvp. I've heard some comparisons to WoW arenas though and, although I don't play WoW, I know enough about it to say that that is a probably a much fairer example.

I think the major drawback right now is the lack of population on NA servers. I was in queue with 4 other people TOTAL for all of NA at around noon on a Saturday. EU had ~400 players when I checked immediately after.
