Cherry MX brown feel similar to silenced MX blues?

I've never tried a brown and was interested in seeing how they feel and differ from the blues. I know the force graphs of the two boards are different but I wanted to ask people with firsthand experience if typing on the browns is similar to if you typed on the blues and blocked out the sound (so you don't get the audio feedback influencing your impression). I often use headphones at night and they do a good job of noise cancelling so I barely hear my keyboard. I was wondering if this sensation is similar to if I typed on browns. Or is the tactile bump itself a different feeling?

I feel a little more sluggish typing on the blue actually, but the click point is still very noticeable on the blue as well.  With browns if I type fast enough I don't even notice the tactile bump.

I had to make up my mind myself and I think that if the click doesn't bother you, the blues are pretty good for typing. But if you're concerned about the noise, I'd recommend the browns even though their tactile bump is not that noticeable. But with some practice they'll be fine. I tried comparing both with headphones on and you really cannot compare them just by blocking the noise - they don't feel the same. I was really surprised about how 'silent' the browns are compared to the blues of my cherry board - of course without headphones. That's why I'm getting a filco board with browns.

i tested blues for the first time and really don't like noise and tactility. I believe indeed that you can type faster as you've got a shaper feedback, but surprisingly i didn't like them. Noise maybe :-)
