Well, I need a new keyboard since I sent my Sidewinder X6 back to Amazon, and I'd like my next to be my first mechanical.

I'm on a sort of budget as I do not want to spend too much on a keyboard. Plus my parents won't allow me to.

I was looking at the Razer Blackwidow. If I do buy it, it'll be from Amazon again as in the UK they give you a free years warranty that isn't stated on the website for electronics.

It will be UK layout as that's what I'm used to.

Will this be a good choice?

Welcome to Geek Hack Mitch,

My personal advice is to go to the wiki and check the stores, prices and models available (remember to check it is the 105 UK layout), then pick a couple of keyboard you are interested, and let us know between which ones you would like us to advice you ;)

I've been lurking the forums for a few days now, and I've read pretty much every wiki on here :P

Does the space +alt keys affect many Blackwidows?
