Looking to mod the sensor and electronics into a logitech marble trackball.  You must be able to provide pictures of the board(s) inside the mouse before I purchase it.

Would you be at all interested in the internals of a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0? The left click switch gave out on me, but the rest of it works fine. Seems like this would be a good application.

I think he's looking for a laser sensor, the IE 3.0 is only optical isn't it?

Having said that I think the Intellimouse is still one of the best mice out there.

I would go with a normal optical if it had all of the features that I need.  small size, low profile sensor on a separate board (or small enough to mount inside the trackball), maybe a function in the chip to reverse the y axis (sensor is flipped).
