The last US layout G80-5000 was sold for 200,000 JPY = 2480 USD.
However, it seems there is no big demand for the ISO layout.

For quite a rare keyboard there have been quite a few floating around Europe lately. If I hadn't just bought one I would be gunning for this auction too.

Now you just need to make sure that this doesn't appear on deskthority...

Last NIB 5000 on ebay (Italian) sold for 228 Euro.

Bargain

I'd like to know who are the smart persons overbidding everytime each other... the same who did it also with the italian auction.
Anyway I hope Ascaii gets it, he really deserve it.

I thought exactly the same thing, they are the same names outbidding each other every hour or so. Neither of them really have much feedback; let's hope they haven't heard of auction sniping ;)

Thing is if it is something you really badly want it might not make sense to wait and snipe because it may increase the risk. Since this seems like a tough to find item they are just aggressively trying to make sure they get what they want.

screw this...im not paying past 350 for this...whoever wants it go for it. And yes, I am still pissed about missing the italian ones...though id say missing is the wrong word. XBB found the original auction 30 seconds after it was registered, while we were on skype talking. He wrote the seller an email and got one board immediately. A little bit later he sent a second mail asking for a second board for me...and the seller gave us the impression I would be getting one, but I never did. We were on to this before it was posted on DT.

Oh and tactical, Im sorry but i havent been to the bank yet, im going there tomorrow morning to check.

i guess, nobody. some friend of this seller has pushed this too far. because this was sniped days before by guys with no real feedback on ebay who havent bought anything serious and pushed it extremely.

and i am happy you havent bought this keyboard for 400, dont misunderstand me, it would be cool if you would have won this bidding, but it would be more cool below 200 in my opinion not this freakin out above 350.

your chance will come ;-)

in the end its a keyboard ;-) you saved 400 € for little bit plastic and brown switches ;..) wheres the problem. and if they sniped themselfes it would be funny because the ebay fee is something you cant cheat :D 400 € arent worth to spent on a keyboard folks. plz dont think about me i am the keyboardantichrist, but 400 euro arent 400$ and 400$ is serious money in my eyes you could do alot other things with it.

well, i dont know what to write cant explain myself good enough, but some things should have their limits. i would bid for a cool keyboard about 200€, but some things shouldnt be overpriced

Things can have limits because you set limits. Other people have higher limits and/or higher budgets. No point arguing about something like that in the marketplace section, imo.
