Monstargear - Thoughts?
« on: Tue, 13 June 2023, 00:15:04 »
I've modified my current board of the YUNZII KC68 quite a bit and am now looking to upgrade to a more premium case as my experience has grown. Looking into the world of mechanical keyboards, I'm not a fan of GB and would rather purchase something that is in-stock. Looking around, I saw the typical ~65% Bakeneko, KBDFans, and NovelKeys. But there was one that caught my eye because I had never seen the brand before.

Monstargear -  https://www.monstargears.com

They are based out of Korea but not really much about their smaller entry model of the Nemo67 can be found.

Has anybody ever built one of their other keyboards before? The XO seems to have been popular at one point (judging by ASMR style keyboard youtubers).

Any advice on Monstargear or any other manufacturer with in-stock aluminum keyboards would be greatly appreciated.

Monstar is an extremely respected name in the Korean mk community. Made a big splash last year with the Sangeo65. They also make a bunch of mainstream things though so make sure you’re looking at their hobbyist products.
