I have found that you can change the feel of my cherry MX clear switches by manipulating the gold contact leaves (mostly because of how the tactile bump on the clear part interacts with the leaf). I can make the switch more (or less to the point they can feel linear) tactile, can make the non clicky clears have a small amount of click, can make the actuation happen sooner in the keypress, and can make the key slightly softer/harder to press.
I have not seen others post about the changing cherry leaves, so would like to know what the more experienced members think of customizing clears to your own exact wants. I guess it would not be practical to individually have to bend the little delicate leaves on every single key.
A couple times I thought I had bent the leaf too much and ruined the switch but after more bending got them working again. I do not recommend doing this on any board you care about because you probably could do damage.
