a strange Key Tronic
« on: Mon, 05 September 2011, 15:53:52 »
Hello Geekhack,

I am currently hunting for Model M Keyboards.
During this I found this specific Key Tronic, it says MPR II - Key on the space bar.
It is rubber dome but I the domes on keytronics are better and more durable, however this keyboard has been heavily used.

Do you think it is worth refurbishing it?

Edit: Why can't I post an image?

I once found a KT-2000 that was really really dirty at a flea market, but I took it apart, cleaned it up and put it together again. It looks and feels like new. As I understand it, the only difference between the KT-2000 and MPR II-key is the case. It should be an ErgoForce keyboard, I think, with the keys on the weaker fingers being softer. I think that it is worth it.
