Looking for a cheap keyboard
« on: Sat, 31 March 2012, 06:34:14 »
I'm currently using a Dell scissor dome keyboard at work and it gets annoying to type on reallllly quick.

I'm looking for a cheap Mechanical keyboard, not too concerned about the switch type.. preferably browns but doesn't really matter. ANSI layout, something like the TVS Gold keyboard would be great, though its ISO :(

So in short, I want it to be:
- Mechanical
- ANSI
- Fullsize
- Cheap

If you know anything suitable, I'd love to hear about it.
I miss Ripster :(

How "cheap" is cheap? Also, being in AUS is going to severely limit your options.

To go TVS Gold cheap, you're gonna be looking at used stuff on eBay.

There's a couple Model Ms cheap on eBay AU, you might try that...

Either that, or just search for keyboard, and slog through all the rubber dome crap to find something mechanical. You might find some old Alps board, although a lot of that will have L-shaped enters.
