I know this is a useless rant because it was my own FAULT and I should take it like a man, I have been feeling very sad lately that now I am working form home and doing LOT and LOTS of typing, I am going to admit I miss my June 1985 Model M, I am not going to sit here and sob I had the option NOT to sell but I did, I had other plans and I thought since I had since added 1 piece keys to my Feb. 1986 Model M, but who am I kidding they dont feel the same and I miss her, I have been wanting to spruce up my 1986 Model M to make her look more I guess "cool"
My Ideas where replace the letters for Wheelwriter keys as they have cool green legends on them and the backspace is nice and the space bar says code on her might cheer up my old Model M.
Sam, in now way is this a flame post to you I know that the M will be fully restored and preserved in your hands for future generations to see versus me having it PC converted and using it 24/7 for mybe the next 30 to 40 years was not going to do well to the poor 1985 M.
Anyone with a set of wheelwriter letter keys that they want to send my way or trade for a minty 1986 letter set let me know.
It feels good to be walking these halls again
