IBM Model M SSK - Bolt modded, unusual keycaps

A Model M SSK that has been modified somewhat. Bolt modded. Unusual keycaps. Low starting price for the auction.

I bought an SSK from this seller last week - kinkng is a Geekhack member. I'm in Southeast Asia, so it's going to be a few more days before the item arrives, but my experience with this seller has been first class.

Thanks for the kind words. No tracking updates since Oct. 30. I hope that you get it soon. I would have preferred not selling any of my SSKs but the Realforce 87U and two sets of keycaps set me back over $600 (with shipping). I was actually hoping that Elitekeyboards would not get the 87U uniform 45g so quickly back in stock since the timing was not great for me.

@kinkng - I just checked the tracking info. The item is at customs. Not long now...

Looks like this sold for $256.. I was watching this but the bidding got furious with hours left. saved me the trouble of dissappointing myself from not winning.

Yup, the money from the sale has already been spent on a 10th Anniversary 87U. I need to sell some more :-(.

Yes, I still have 6 but I probably need to whittle that down due to all the 87Us and keycaps that I bought recently.

@kinkng - Congratulations on the sale!

Coincidentally, the SSK aka "Snooki" that you sold me arrived today. Very pleased with the keyboard. The industrial-grade packaging was/is much appreciated. The SSK traveled halfway around the world with excellent physical protection. More pictures and feedback to follow.

I asked kinkng if he could pack the item carefully (so that it'll survive any rough handling while in transit), but he really set a high standard for international packaging.
