[STRIKE]Hey, everybody. I'm looking to sell a Filco 87-key with browns. I'm looking to sell because I picked this up for a friend, but he's been delaying purchasing from me, so I'm looking to move it else where. I'm still open to a trade for a full sized board, preferably one with white caps and red or blue switches. I'm thinking $110 shipped in the US, $130 shipped to Canada sale wise, but I'm not inflexible, so if you can't do that, but have a different idea, run it by me. Better pictures can be found here. That's a really good trade. If anything, just buy a 3000 for 70$ and sell the filco here.

I don't want to risk getting an ISO one though, and all the ones linked through the wiki have EU in the model and ISO pictures. Are they safe?

Yeah, sadly, must of what you get on ebay (or some other sites) have pictures of ANSI, but actually sell ISO boards. You have to hunt down the G80-3000lscrc-2 variant. They had a great deal here http://www.geminicomputersinc.com/g80-3000lscrc-2.html but they are still out of stock...

I'll be on the lookout if I can spot anything on my side.

Yeah, my phone only takes good pictures when it feels like it. These came out terribly. My sister had a decent camera, but she took it with her to college, so these are the easiest for me to get. Sorry about that. We have more cameras, but I have really shaky hands and they can't handle them well. If anyone wants to give me some photo tips, go right ahead.

Bumping this up after a 3 day hiatus. I found a decent camera, so if anyone wants some better pictures, let me know. Though they'll all be close up, because macro is the only way I can take good pictures.

Unfortunately the Otaku scares the none touch typing guys . It is a supper price for such nice model.
IMHO You can also buy an inexpensive set of keycaps an replace the otaku and sell them separately.

I have no problem shipping to anywhere in the world. However, you would be responsible for the costs. I have not used it much, but from my brief use for testing, I did not notice any ping.

First-Class Mail International would be about $30, but it says the amount of time depends on the location. Priority mail international would be about $37, and would get to you in 6-10 business days, according to the USPS website.

I like the otakus. If you can basically touch type, then you should be fine. There's a little bit of an adjustment period, but that typically goes away in a day or so.

I love otakus, if you can touch type you don't need the letters, the function keys are obvious because they are split in groups of 4, and I certainly expect that everyone knows what all the bigger size keys do. The only thing that gets me sometimes is the number row, but if you were intending to type a lot of numbers you'd have a tenkey anyways right? GLWS.

I thought about it coz I have a set of double shot ready for a board as such. Except I was more looking for a board 100 or under. For 110 I might as well go for for brand new leopold otaku and I can't really blame OP selling it for 100+. Its filco.

I would absolutely sell it if a single person PM'd me saying something along the lines of "Gee, $110 shipped? Sounds good, where do I send the money?" I realized that I'll just get a WASD with the money that comes from this, since G80-3000s seem to be fairly scarce, and I want something with pure white keycaps.

Is there a difference in this and the Majestouch Ninja 2? I like that one since it has the print alongside the bottom. I'm a touch typer but I anticipate complaints from the gf.

Ninja will have the side printing you're looking for, while a otaku is basically a plain board with no prints at all on the keycaps

The polling rate on the Majestouch 2 is slightly higher. It's a negligible difference. But sale is pending with one guy, and if that falls through, there's a bit of a queue.

2nd Gen has a slightly thicker PCB, resulting in a slightly lower pitch of typing sound. There is otherwise almost no difference and has no technological advantages over the first gen.
