Not super sure this is a great find since I am new to this whole keyboard community, which is great I would like to say! Anyways it is only $29.99 before shipping and I think like $10 for shipping. Here's the link:

Yep, who cares? Its about the doubleshot keycaps. Pimpin style, I use a set of WYSE caps on one of my boards as well. Note that the alpha block is blue writing on light grey. Once theyre clean theyll look like this:

He rejected my offer of $6.

I completely don't remember that, so it must have been when I was drunk.
---
Anyway, I was able to get two of these for $20 shipped each off other people. One of them just sent the keycaps.

The keycaps on the older WYSE 50 are much better than the ones on the 60.

Those arrow keys are amazing.

I still have some of the double shot keycaps off an old Wyse 60 but the bleaching experiement faded them a bit so they aren't as crisp as they were and the darker grey keys are now a bit off color  :(

Mine (from a wyse 50) took about a 9 days, and turned out perfect. I did the number keys from the number row, and from the tenkey-area. I can only do about 30 at a time, though.

I'm using the spacebar to stir. it lightened up to it's proper colour pretty quick, and has not gotten any "worse" after another week.

Haven't tried any of the dark keys yet., though they yellowing doesn't look too bad on them.

I'm more interested in the F10 key.

It really is an excellent board, though. Rocking the WYSE arrow keys is always a good move.

The numpad caps are from a German POS company called Jarltech, you can sometimes snag their boards on ebay.de for ~30€. The F-keys are from an Access- Is board, capslock and enter are from a Preh Commander Battleship (to match the light grey theme). The Nonstandard relegendables are also from Jarltech. If anyone wants some of them I still have about 200 extra of them.

I want an access-is, hopefully I'll find one soon.

On the WYSE: It looks like one of the newer ones, where some of the keycaps are actually standard. (on both of mine, the block above the arrowkeys, and almost all the ones on the tenkey-area were different.

instead of numlock, /*- I have
Line INS Char, Line DEL Char, Scrn CLR Line, Ins Repl

This one, the keys are dirty, but look like they're not yellowed, so they should clean up fast. I just wish he'd sell it to me for $20 shipped like the last guy did. :(

I thought all Preh keyboards were rubberdomes? I actually called them once and talked with one of the engineers and he said they were all rubberdomes.

Well, I ALREADY got two for $20 shipped each. You just gotta hit up all the "best offer" guys  all at once (preferably when NCbound10 is selling some WYSE's for cheap at the same time)

All this discussion: and no-one has yet bought it :( I sort of wanted this one, because I'm a WYSE fan, the arrowkeys are a little different (I think) and it has some more standard keycaps. Plus I wanted to compare it to the two keycap sets I have. This I planned to keep my favourite sets, retrobrite everything, and sell the caps to interested GH'ers at a bargain.

But I can't do that if the crazy ebay sellers want more than $20 shipped

Yes they are all rubber domes...but some older models used individual housed RD switches with cherry stems, the caps seem to be SP doubleshots.

This Wyse Technology 840358-01 Wired Keyboard is in good overall condition, with some scuffing and discoloration resulting from years of service.  Keyboard comes with a Coiled Cord plugged in, but the ends are similar to phone cords so we cannot test its functionality as we lack proper equipment.  We are therefore selling this in AS-IS condition for parts or repair and without possibility of return or refund.  See photos for additional details.

If this where in Germany, it would cost around 25 to 30 EUR including shipping. Not too bad for a set of double shots on a most presumably working keyboard (just not with the PC;-).

I'd take it!

Preh keyboards are rubber domes, but older ones can be interesting for their number keys:

Who cares, the alphanumeric + arrow set is usually really cheap. The modifiers are going to be hit or miss though.

I might just have to pick this up if they offer local pickup.  Don't need it bad enough to pay for shipping, but for a quick drive it'd be worth it.

I got a seller to pull all the caps and send just those to me.

I've been using my retr0brited WYSE from a long time ago (all the copyright's on the PCB say 1983) and they aren't brittle at all. They were quite yellowed during their stint in the library in Athens, GA, though.

They are very thick doubleshot's so that may help the brittle issue.

Interestingly enough, some of the caps seem to be from a different run of molds. The  ) is thinner than the ( on mine, and looks to be higher quality.

I got them from the keyboard itself, which has black switch. The plastic flexes if you press them, but I would not call them brittle.
It has nice sound coming out when I am typing on it.
The last two rows have also rather inclined angle, which makes typing even more comfortable.

I see you are a topre man, hope you will become a wyse man soon.

well the seller responded and they do offer local pickup and they also accept unwanted electronics, so looks like I will be cleaning out my junk pile this weekend (which I've needed to do for a while now anyway) and acquiring a new keyboard :)  I hope that an old school beige/grey moogle kit is close enough to work with those caps and not look too awful.  At this point I'm going to have to start selling caps because I'm running out of boards to put my cool stuff on... there's worse problems to have though.  Anyone need some WASD (brand, not a set of four) keycaps?

i think mine is also the "thin" one, it is thinner than the cherry double shot, but it is ps2, with layout that is closer to the modern day one. wyse 50 might be thicker, as many of those late 80s high end appear to be, but its layout might be less useful for a modern transplate.

comparing with my realforce 103, driving the wyse is like driving a sport car, whereas the realforce is more like a truck. and the wyse is much cheaper.
i think for overall drving experience, the thickness of the keypad is just one consideration. thicker does not always mean better.
despite that, i am still eager to locate a dolch set to be put on my cmstorm red which is arriving later this week.
