Egads! I might need to get me another IBM M4!

I have absolutely fallen in love wiht this little thingy. I know the keyfeel is love or hate, but I definitely fallinto the "love" camp. Snappy, responsive, and the bottoming out doesn't feel hard. I also love the layout and I've gotten used to it pretty quickly. I also like the key sound a lot--there's a certain low-frequency clickiness going that I really like.

I moved my M4 to the office since last week, and I gotta say I've had a few days of happy coding and e-mailing. So I don't think it's the honeymoon effect.

I guess I'll have to scour the Classifieds and/or eBay.

I take it the Cherry didn't pass the muster?

I have a love/hate thing with the Cherry. It has the mechanical switches and all, but by ye gods, it is stiff (that's what she said). It's strange--sometimes it feels good, sometimes it doesn't (she said that, too). I think that the ML switches are far too sensitive to where you hit 'em.

So I'm still on the fence about that one. Maybe I should give it a week fo constant use at home to see if I can like it.

But the IBM? Oh, man, I love it. :becky:
