Magic: the Gathering cards for any mech boards?
« on: Thu, 10 November 2011, 14:28:27 »
Stopped playing Magic about a year ago and I don't think I'll be starting up again. Figured I'd see if I can trade from one hobby to another before I try to just sell them to a local or online shop. I'm interested in trading them for any Cherry MX mechanical keyboards (except for blue switches, have enough of those now) you don't want and/or some PBT or novelty keycaps. Feel free to ask if I have other things (though I don't have many of the newer things), I'll just list a few highlights.

In terms of values, I'm mostly looking at StarCityGames's buylist here as this is the minimum I could get without hassle if I were going to sell them: http://sales.starcitygames.com/buylist/
In most cases it's either cheaper or about the same as Ebay for the big name cards. Other than the dual lands, most are in very good shape. The dual lands aren't bad, but they aren't pristine either. I would call them moderately played and mostly the signs of wear are whitening on the back. I can take pictures of specific ones on request.

nice collection. how long have you been playing? is started 2.5 years ago, haven't been playing much though.

been thinking about selling a ton of it, but getting rid of my set of duals is hard to let go of. so are my candelabras :D

you should at least keep a strong legacy deck together, or even modern. eternal formats are the best :)

i have a mint choc mini with blues, as well as an ANSI G80-1800.

Yea, I've been playing legacy as you may be able to tell and I might keep a deck around, but probably not one that is so pricey. I have a goblin charbelcher deck that's reasonable and under about $100, though it isn't exactly fun to play lol. I remember going to a local tournament with it and being like "Draw hand. Got a force of will? No? Boom you're dead."

I'd love the choc mini. Care to tell me about the G80 a bit? I'm one of the keyboard newbies and only know about things like Filcos and Leos and the rest of the more modern bunch, though I'd probably take it. If you want to trade them let me know what you're looking for.

Bump. Made a trade and still open for more. These lovely dual lands will be joining GoodKnight's collection.

I remember back in the days of my all-star red deck.  It was filled with lightning bolts and fireballs...that's all I remember lol...

Two actually. A Das and some Cherry with some numbers that I can't possible recall off the top of my head! The Cherry boards have way too many numbers in them lol

Bump. Made a trade with Biniaris and still possibly looking for more! Interested in trying to get a keyboard with black or clear switches in particular, but I'm open for other things.

Please get in touch with awry, I think he might have use for some of your cards.
