prove it with a youtube video or it didn't happen.

I also type with 3 fingers on my right hand and have 100wpm (Thats my typeracer last 10 races average).

Qwerty is not so good for touch typing, since ETIOR - the most frequently used letters are on the upper row. This inefficiency is forcing Qwerty users to try multiple way of finger positioning to type these letters as fast as possible. Some people even put their fingers on the upper row, ready to type these letters.

I have touch typed in Qwerty for 15 years before switching to Colemak 1 year ago. Colemak is designed so that most used letters (ETOASIRHND) are in  the home row while keeping 10 QWAHZXCVBM keys unchanged. That makes standard touch typing very efficient while editing hotkeys (copy, paste, cut, select all, replace) remain the same.

Just saw the videos, you're fast but overburdening those fingers. It might be better for you long term to spread of the action to the thumb and pinkies... the way you hold your pinkies tucked high to keep out of the way seems to be a stressful position too. Do you have any pain/discomfort when you type like that for a long time?

I find the whole "Hunt and Peck" idea most comfortable to me, but I am a hardcore gamer and I generally have my left on WASD or ESDF at all times so that is probably why. :)

Actually I just noticed from those videos that I actually keep my pinky tucked up high, I've never noticed it before. But thats also partially because I use my pinky for backspace and enter (Which I don't use on typeracer) so I don't have my pinky up all the time.

For pain/discomfort, I've been typing like this since I was around 12 or 13 or so, and I haven't experienced any pain/discomfort yet. Actually as you might notice, I like to keep my fingers relatively spread out and low with my arms resting on the keyboard tray. I find the normal way of keeping your wrists up and having your fingers all on the homerow to be too cramped and uncomfortable for me.

Well I also have a wierd way of using the mouse too, considering I use the mouse on the table above the keyboard tray and I position it around where you'd hold a pencil when your writing.

I had intially developed my own style of typing which basically had my hands moving around like a spastic...I did about 100wpm on that

Then I finally decided to learn to touchtype (qwerty) and it took a few months to get back up to speed.  This way though my hands aren't moving as much as before and it just feels more comfortable.
