So, I entered the dark, unlit cul-de-sac that is Mechanical keyboards about a month ago with my first board the regular Razer Black Widow.  Then I got a nice Model M from triegal and just lately got the Coolermaster Quickfire pro. I've been trying to get my brother involved with the mech boards and let him borrow the Razer.  Not only did he spill coke into it, but he dissassmebled it himself, totally borking internal connection where the cable is mounted to the pcboard. Im not totally inept with tools and could prolly get it working again (if the coke didnt toally ruin it) but I dont know the color coding order of the connection. By looking at the picture below, can anyone tell me the color order?  If not, how would I go about getting that info(im gonna check the razer forums, and email support too).  Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer.

From your pictures it really looks like the shell of the connector is still in the socket, although it seems to have been pretty mangled.  You're going to need to find someone that has internal pics or is willing to take some in order to find the proper wiring order.

I can't really help you with the problem you've got, but this reminds me of the time I lent my copy of Crash Bandicoot (the first one) and it didn't work when I got it back. I looked at the underside of the disc and there were holes in the disc, and grains of sand jammed inside the holes. Needless to say I was not happy.

On the topic at hand, you might be able to find a review that takes the keyboard apart. I've seen some reviews of PSUs that take the housing off to discuss the interior build quality/setup/etc.
You might get lucky and find one that does the same for the keyboard. Your best bet is probably Razer support, though, as you said.
