keyboard support (selection)
« on: Wed, 22 February 2012, 06:53:20 »
i plan to purchase my first mechanical keyboard. as i am new to this and got no really experience, i want to ask for some advise. i read some articels and watch some youtube videos. some points which matter are:
- de layout (germany)
- full keyboard (with num block)
- backlight
- mediakeys
- brown switches prefered (maybe blue)

what i dont like are the razer black widow or das keybaord design, that have a refelcting design.

i am looking for a model and a reseller in europe who can offer this kind of keyboard.

(sry for my english) thx in advance

inb4 RTFW.

I don't think you'll find a minimalistic keyboard that combines backlight with media keys. All the ones with media keys are self-professed gaming keyboards.

in before ripster is taking over this thread:

If you want to buy a keyboard with german layout from a german shop your options are:

- German Filco MX Brown from getdigital.de
- German Das Keyboard MX Brown from getdiital.de
- German QPad MX Brown from either computeruniverse.net or atelco.de (those are the only ones with mediakeys afaik but you might have to wait for them to be in stock again (1st week of march))

My personal choice would be the filco
