Right then, I'll be sending it on its way to Germany sometime this week, sorry for hogging it for so long. I was hoping to be able to provide a photo of it hanging from a dragon's open jaws, but I've had a really busy last week and the weather has been too schizophrenic for me to want to take my DSLR with me for the whole day. Might still happen if I find the opportunity before packing it back up, but it won't be today.
Overall, the experience of playing around with the Topre switch has been illuminating. I was expecting a softer, mushier feel to it and even though I'm still not convinced that it bounces back up quite quickly enough for my liking, the 55g variant well might. The first priority remains getting my hands on a Filco with Cherry MX Browns because they just sound like a greal all-around switch. But after that, who knows if I wouldn't prefer the quiet Topres over MX Blues for late-night typing and in atmospheric games that (unlike the main game I play religiously) only require light use of the keyboard?
The cost of a Realforce (even compared to a Filco) shipped to Slovenia is a bit outrageous, though, so it'll definitely be a while before I have to make my mind up. First things first.
