The Scroll Lock key on my Limited Edition Ducky is perfectly straight. I'm really loving the MX Green switches, but I understand they're not for everybody. Of course, that's why Cherry makes several different switch types. If you like heavy switches in general (Buckling Spring, MX Blacks), you'd probably like Greens, Whites, and both types of Grey. I don't do a lot of gaming these days, and I don't think I'd particularly enjoy linear switches, though I'd still like to try some. The sense of interaction I get from this keyboard when typing on it is something I'd probably miss with linear switches. I'm looking forward to the next version of this board with Light Grey switches -- I really like the click of Greens most of the time, but it can occasionally get on my nerves. Maybe all I need is the tactile bump.
Incidentally, the
CM Storm Trigger is also available with MX Green switches if you prefer a full-sized layout. It's a gaming keyboard, though not as gaudy as some. Macro keys can usually be programmed for functions other than casting spells in WoW; e.g., launching programs, typing a string of text, executing a complex series of shortcuts in Excel or Photoshop, etc. So it can have its uses as a professional workhorse, as well.
