It's better to discard the trackball once you receive the keyboard :) (compaq 84u mod)

I would say so. That is a very good price for a keyboard with MX browns.

Though, keep in mind that the positioning of the navigation keys (especially pg up, pg dn, home, end) is far from ideal.

It's no big loss if you do. The trackball on these keyboards isn't very good. The ball is very small.

Recently used one for some data entry. Loved the sounds as I blazed away typing at 100+ wpm.
Sadly, the Topre at home doesn't sound as distinguished while typing at similar speed.

But this keyboard's size is too large IMO for gaming with a mouse and the layout is funky, so it's only good for certain data entry.
