That's... different.

2.25x rShift. 5.5x spacebar.

Edit: I guess I kinda like it. Though it looks as plasticky as the other Matias boards.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. Would be willing to look the other way though for this layout/ switches

Sorry, but I need my home keys. :/

I've come to need the six pack but feel it could easily be replaced with shortcuts.

I use shift + insert/home/end way too much
shift + page up/page down can be useful too

The shortcuts would have to be very well thought out to support this sort of thing..

yeah saw this too, i'm wondering if they are only releasing the mac layout or if a black design windows layout one will come out just like the full size quiet pro.

If the price is right this may be a good keyboard to travel with. bah, listen to myself trying to justify buying another keyboard.......

I actually like the layout, and if it has dampened ALPS...

Hopefully the new switches will get Diatec to reboot the Zero line.

survey says...     not a snowballs chance in hell. It would be cool to mod a zero with them though.

I like this layout; it's actually kind of sexy. And going a bit smaller than TKL is quite alright with me. After all I'm planning to convert a MiniTouch to Matias switches (now I may have to reconsider that plan :) ).

I'm tempted to say this keyboard proves that GH rubbed off on Edgar Matias, but I also know that just about any computer store you walk into these days has got metric tons of small, wireless keyboards. There must be a sizable slice of that market that wants a nice mechanical switch.

Ewwwwwwww!

I somewhat like Matias Keyboards, but now this is just an aberration! I wonder how Mac***s, who enjoy shiny and pretty things a lot more than most of us do, will react to a keyboard as ugly as this one.
