Filco R4 key "0" font alignment defect?
« on: Mon, 21 May 2012, 09:00:51 »
Recently I bought a Filco Majestouch red switch from Taobao. I found there is an alignment problem with the R4 "0" / ")" key:

The alignment of "0" is a little bit shifted to right...

I am afraid it's taobao seller problem so I sent an inquiry email to diatec. They replied me:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for purchasing our product all the way from China.

Regarding the problem, this is a regular condition for 0/) key.
All of the keyboards that are new batches should have the same looks
which you can confirm in our official picture attached.

Please kindly confirm it.

Thanks and best regards,
DIATEC CORPORATION

This is the picture they attached in their reply email:

This is the link of the product detail of this keyboard in daitec web site (which I cannot see the same defect of "0"):

The overall quality of the keyboard is still very good. I have to replace the whole set ABS keys anyway.

You mean you complained to the manufacturer about a slight printing misalignment on a keycap you intended replacing anyway?

I'm just... I... I can't...

Sorry, I think I'll go now.

I didn't complain but I want to make sure it's manufacter problem. I am happy to see that they confirmed it is. Otherwise I must return the keyboard and request to refund.
