Model M Spacesaver + caps for otaku w/rgb modifiers

I am trying to find/create (preferably find, tbh) a keyboard like the pixel art (thank you, sealcouch) attached. Unicomp is out of RGB caps at the moment. I think I could gt at least my single-unit blanks there.

If someone has the materials to assemble or partially assemble the finished project, I'd be happy to pay him for his assembly work or make a donation to geekhack.

Cosmetically, I do not need collector quality, but I do need a perfecly functioning (especially the right shift) board.

I'm going to assume that you don't currently own an IBM SSK.  You're not going to find one with a WTB ad, you're going to need to pony up and hunt for it if that's what you're after.  eBay and our classifieds are your best bet.  As for the RGB keycaps, I'm not so sure, but I'd start with contacting Unicomp.

on the contrary, SSKs have been popping up pretty regularly on the classifieds lately.

re: rgb caps, you might want to call unicomp or file a support ticket -- they may have them back in stock or almost back in stock but just haven't updated the website yet.

Looks like I missed out on that one. But I PMed him just in case. I've also received a PM offer on a scratched SSK. I'm communicating about the scratched now. I realized after getting that PM that I have not entered my location information yet. Time to take care of that.

Unicomp are sadly out of RGB caps at the moment. I was told 4-6 weeks on the phone.

Pretty sure I know who the seller is. ;)

Enjoy the keyboard. I'd love to have one of these but I need winkeys in addition to Ctrl and Alt.
