Sup guys I was wondering, is there really only one wireless mech keyboard on the market?

Was thinking since I need a new one for the HTPC :couch2:

I believe so, though the one you have pictured is xarmor's backlit version. They don't make the wifi version w/backlighting AFAIK.

I didn't like the xarmor keyboard I had, but everyone has a bad experience to tell about, I guess. The major con is that their support kind of sucks, but you should double check where their real contact site is. It used to be http://www.xarmor-usa.com/, but now that's some weird page about African gold. If you go this route the keyboard should be labeled as Qumax/X-armor or Ione, though I never confirmed if they were the same company.

Someone posted a couple days ago about a new bluetooth board, but I haven't seen much about it.

You could always go the mod route and put your own transmitter into a board:

Xarmor has its critics, and I'm one of them, but if you're set on mechanical, it should be fine for what you need it for.

Nope, there are two more:
- xArmor U9W (2.4Ghz)
- Majestouch Wireless (bluetooth)
- Neo Zelia (2.4Ghz, freaky board)

Though some of them are rare. By the end of the year two more should pop up I think. Probably from Vortex and another Chinese company.

The RF-600 claims to have mechanical switches but didn't see what type.

Looks like it's also iOne, same as the xarmor but with encrypted wireless... sounds like a gimmick and cost 2x as much.

Yea I don't like it either, I own the QPAD MK-80 and MK-85 (dont ask me why :D) and they are really bad, probably the worst keyboards on the market next to the blackwidow..

The majestouch looks interesting tbh, but why havent any company even brainstormed to make a wireless keyboard that acctually fits on the table in the TV-room?
I think a good keyboard would be the G80-3800, just make it a lil' smaller...

"104 individual mechanical keyswitches for incredibly smooth, responsive typing"
Sounds like blues or browns.

I don't quite get why they would offer it without usb receiver (substract $99). As far as I can tell from the information available it won't work without?

Do you mean, 'looks cool enough' or 'is small enough ala TKL'?
Because I think a lot of people would love a noppoo choc mini in wireless.

You would need to mod one yourself, if you wanted it to be wireless. There are plenty of resources out there, or people you can ask to do that modification for you.
