Tsangan keys should realistically be added to all base kits from now on, see Sanctuary. So many customs being sought after now, that these keys simply should be ubiquitous.

Hey jdc. I am guessing that will be a natural progression. I've only been here for 4 months and don't know how we got to this point but I was researching some Korean boards last evening here and at DT, reading all the posts, and as I look around here, it seems like everyone is designing cases and now some more PCBs are becoming available. In anothere year or two there will be custom kbds everywhere and I thing you statement will be the norm. Everyones designing, soldering and doing all the preliminary work to get us there ... Like the KS that Keyboardstory announced a few days ago.

The thing I would like to see is a set for the right hand column on a kbd like the MX-Mini. The keys we put there, PgUp, PgDn, Home and End simply are not the correct profile. It's a shame to have such a nice kbd and the caps not fit properly. Oh well, someday we'll get there.

OK ... Enough chit chat, jeez I'm crapping in my own thread :)    OK, got any RA2 Tsangan kits ya wanna unload?

There are still far more people using just modern 1.25x modifiers forcing them to purchase unnecessary keys isn't exactly fair with that said the current system we have now allows everyone to get exactly what they want from 104 keyboards to tenkeyless and even the more hardcore custom users

While I completely agree, I notice in my infancy here that the tide is turning a little and demand for the 1.5's seems to be increasing.

What are your thoughts on the right hand column I mentioned. What do you use there for keys, personally (if you have a mini)?

Demand of 1.5x from GH are the people that post a lot and do a lot of transaction, but the majority is still Filco/Ducky/WASD/Rosewill/CMStorm etc etc

Base kit no matter what for a set is the bare minimum you'll need unless 80-90% of the people that need 1.5x mods then I still don't think it's fair, but what it does do is make things a lot easier for the organizer. I don't especially have a problem with it being combined as normally I need everything from a set but at this time it's more like 50% of the people don't want/need it so they will definitely speak up.

I just use the regular keys I normally do the profile is off but it doesn't kill me, the MX mini is a very one of case in terms of keyboards its similar to the Cherry 1800 series where if you take a regular base + 10keypad kit the profiles would not line up but in the end there isn't enough of those users to make them in that profile, there are users but in the end they are just a minority.
