Ordering from Taobao
« on: Fri, 18 April 2014, 00:38:32 »
I am placing on order on my Tao focus for a dolch keyboard that will probably weigh quite a few pounds  :p I noticed something though, this line "Domestic delivery fee is 15 RMB per seller. Once your order is processed, domestic delivery fee may be adjusted depending on the sellers location and the items weight." Worries me, does that mean that I will get charged more later due to the weight of the item?

it sounds like it. especially if it's the whole dolch system, you can't get it a significant distance domestically for 15rmb. that said, the cost of domestic shipping is hugely dominated by the cost of shipping out of the country, which, by the way, should be done via EMS -- you'll be looking at something like 40$/kg.

to all the brilliant friends who have left us, and all the students who climb on their shoulders.

You'll very likely have to pay another fee later.
