FS/FT Poker
« on: Fri, 01 February 2013, 10:13:38 »
Anyone interested in a Poker?

It has cherry red switches, original cable, manual, and box.

Keycaps are a little messed up due to 91 percent alcohol :(

Asking for $90 with shipping

I could do $80 without the keycaps.

I do have some keycaps extracted from a K60 keyboard. That can be optioned instead of the normal Poker keycaps.

I am also going to sell some novelty keycaps.

Yeah, I would like to know what happened to the keycaps too (and see some pics).  I know for a fact that 99% isopropyl alcohol ("rubbing alcohol") will not do anything to ABS keycaps.  Also Ethyl alcohol ("drinking alcohol") will do very little if anything to ABS keycaps.  However, Methanol, ("wood alcohol") will have an adverse effect upon ABS plastic.  So I guess the OP's Poker come in contact with 91% methanol?  How?  Why?  And what happened to the 'caps?  Did they melt, deform, discolor?  All three?

Woah, those look wild.... marble caps.

You should keep throwing alcohol on the keys, and make it a full set. It would actually look really cool.

Jesus how did you do that?

I agree, it's an interesting look.

Man I thought you had somehow acquired rare marbled double shots from SP. The effect is pretty neat, and if they made sets like that in the future it would probably look good if the legend was a different color than the swirl.
