YASMAKBT (which keyboard?) - was: i really hate you people
« on: Wed, 10 October 2012, 05:16:29 »
i long time ago i searched into this forum for a mechanical keyboard and i ended buying two (yes two) das keyboard mx-brown one printed and one not.

after a while both keyboards began giving me problems: they simply stop responding while you type or they aren't recognized at boot.

yesterday night i have bought a kbt pure (blue led/mx blue) from amazon but i already feel the NEED to have an other one (you can help me choose).

i really don't know why but I  keyboard addiction is taking me again, especially when i saw your wonderful keycaps mods of Anynoupy.

I hate you people...i feel i will invest in other keyboards now...

HHBK2 if you have the budget! Once I got hold of one the layout was unreal! So nice and neat!

i imagine you mean the PROFESSIONAL ($$$) one and not the lite2.

Yes i have looked around trying to find one but it's so expensive...

The keys have you .......
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

For das you should ask for warranty.

I am also confused, really pure is selling on amazon?

for my suggestion is just fixing the two DAS since they are the best i believe.

After going from buckling springs to Cherry MX recently I found out it's actually TWO addictions.  Now I need more keycaps.  I'll also need another keyboard or two to display the one's I'm not using.  I'm also starting to amass quite a few wrist rests lol.
