[ebay] Lexmark (IBM) M15 buy-it-now only, $900
« on: Thu, 04 October 2012, 08:22:31 »
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Lexmark-IBM-M15-Buckling-Spring-Ergonomic-Split-PS-2-Keyboard-/170919086078

No bidding, just $899.99 buy-it-now, ends October 10th 03:29 PDT

This is one of those Lexmarks with an alternate part number and (I believe) a different serial# sequence.

Lexmark PN 1428401, Model M15
Serial # 0000347
Manufacture date of 3/9/1995.

Looks like all the feet are intact, seems in good condition generally from the tiny photos and description. Non-smoker.
Hairline crack in the ball joint mechanism.

Is this what these are really going for now? Seems pricey by at least a hundred bucks to me, and odd that it's not open for bidding.
M15 for life

I think one of these went for $1800 or something like that not too long ago. It was NIB, if I recall.

M15's are really pricy on ebay, but I'm told that you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

The more typical price for one of these lately has been in the $500-600 range. I'd hardly call this a good deal, but I suppose it depends how bad you want one.

I would rather have a Cherry G80-5000 at that price.

Less than that. Seriously. The last one on ebay was NIB and demanded a premium, but this one is used and has a crack in the ball joint.

There's not much supply go compare against, but I've seen them sell in the $500-600 range on a normal auction.
