This is what I did to my keyboard today. I would post this in the mods forum, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore.
It was actually really easy, I just bought a couple of
these, snipped it, stripped the internal wires, and did the same to an extra cable I had from an old filco. I chose to solder the same colored wires together, but you could probably get away with just twisting them. I shaved the plastic off the female end so it would fit into the opening of the case (which i also had to shave a tiny bit off), and hot glued it in. I decided to do the vinyl wrap while I had my case apart. I think it looks
pretty good, but with some practice, I probably could have done better on the corners. Either way, it's going to look ****ing awesome when my red alert set shows up early next week. If anyone has an questions about my process, I'll do my best to answer them. Sorry I was too lazy to take more pictures while working on it.
