Halloween '12
« on: Wed, 31 October 2012, 17:58:40 »
anyone have any traditions? parties are over by now (they should have happened over the weekend) so do older ppl (not cute kids) still trick or treat? do you guys with kids like going with your kids?

it's horrible weather now from Sandy, so i don't see a single kid/parent on the street, i don't want to be bothered today either, so i just left a bucket of candy outside.

That's naughty  :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

So cruel!  Unfortunately even if they were real apples that you put love and care into making and handed them out to kids, people are far too paranoid these days and wouldn't let their kids eat them anyway.  Unfortunately I had to work this Halloween and didn't get around to carving a pumpkin this year but here's a picture of mine from last year.
