Online stores that do international shipping
« on: Thu, 08 November 2012, 18:32:28 »
I have searched, and searched.. and could not find stores with good prices that would ship international.
Newegg, tiger, quill, buy.com, logicbuy, even amazon.. none of them would ship to Brazil.

So, do you guys know any store (preferably USA/CAN because of shipping rates) that has a good selection of keyboards and a nice price (no huge discounts needed, just fair pricing) that ship to Brazil?
Owns: Cherry G80-8113 w/ browns.
I'm looking for somebody to proxy a QFR for me. I'll pay. PM me!

Thanks for that, but..
-Performance PCs: 79USD for shipping. SERIOUSLY? Also, expensive products.
-Linke computer: For a ducky, shipping is 155 bucks + 22 for insurance. UNBELIEVABLE.
-IPMart: couldn't find any mechanicals in stock.

I use ebay regularly, actually just a Model M for 20 bucks there, but it is a lucky shot. I would like to have a more stable place to look at.

Thanks for the help, though. I'll keep an eye on IPMart.

Edit: just noticed some nice boards at Linke like Filco Majestouch 2 with ninja Keys with free shipping. It ends up being like 150 bucks shipped. THAT'S A GOOD DEAL.

AFAIK, global.PChome should be the one that offer the cheapest global shipping rate

Is that HKD or did you check USD?

The price for Ducky keyboards there is ridiculous, only stuff worth there buying currently are FILCO keyboards.

Only Ducky's I see are the limited edition ones, of course their price would be a lot higher.
What I was talking about is where the person said shipping is $155.. I said is that HKD or did they go and check what it is in their own currency. The website isn's in USD or anything.

I dare say so, as it's just short of $20 AUD. Also, those Filco's are a great price, especially with free shipping.

They're got the yellow Filco I want ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Actually, taking a better look, their Ninja Filcos are greatly priced. Dunno how I could have missed that.

Their price may be nice but customers seem to be having problems with that company. They have a forum link at the top right where customers have listed problems with items not being in stock and lost shipments. Cannot find many reviews about the company other than a few old reviews on reseller ratings. Just my 2 cents.

Thing is, I myself bought my Das Keyboard there, and I also recommended it for lots of other people who bought stuff there.

While it's true that indeed they sell stuff that's out of stock unfortunately (as happened with a Gigabyte Aivia Osmium, took 1 month to get back to stock), the FILCOs are actually in stock and the last guy who ordered one, received it in only 4 weeks after the purchase (which is quite fast, since half the time was spent at Brazil's customs).
