Access-IS AKEATUA307. Nice plate mounted ansi with MX blacks and SP doubleshot. Also has interesting trackpoint implementation. Sadly the card reader makes it rather ugly, maybe a custom case candidate?
$25 BIN w/ $14 shipping US.

Cool way to put in a trackpoint for sure! I want to get a card reader at some point for random impulse buys. Heh.

I rather like the card reader. Are we sure this keyboard is cherry MX, though?

I've never seen an Access that isn't, and those are clearly SP keycaps... if in doubt, contact the seller.

Bought. Interested in the trackpoint on this. A question: would I be able to use Cherry Tools on any Cherry board to modify things?

Access has their own utility softprog. I am not sure if this board is support full programmable or not.

"We do not ship to international addresses." meh.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

+1 on this.  Great for playing with layouts.  Interested to see if the trackpoint is any good.

It's only great if you have a PS2 port, though.

I'm really happy of the build quality of my two access boards. I think they have NKRO even.

Agreed on ps2 port (needed for programming).

Nkro over ps2, 5 nkro if you use a blue cube.

Congratulations to the winner .
You just got yourself a kick-ass keyboard !

I have one of these, in white, and it's my favourite keyboard for all-around use .
As a free bonus, it takes up less space than an IBM Space-saver !!

Did you figure it out? There is a templates package at the bottom of the softprog page. You should download and install the files if not.

I didn't. I haven't looked at it since (long weekend...). I did download those, but they are all included if you check the right boxes, so nothing there. I was looking for a regular 104 key layout, but they closest the have is a layout similar to the G80-1800...

At the airport today, I noticed that United was using these at their gates in Charlotte. I complimented the employee on his keyboard.

I recognized it by the trackpoint.

I notice it has the NKRO diodes like all the Access keyboards I've seen. Pretty sweet deal, if we can get the layout working in softprog.

What did he say? I would've had a full on discussion about mechanicals right then and there, but I don't work at a terminal, or at all for that matter... >.<

I've seen them in Kastrup Lufthavn  ( Copenhagen Airport ) ..
They almost called security when I asked to see it up close !
The people who use these boards in their profession generally don't know just how good their tool is !!

I've also seen Cherry-boards with BLACK, DANISH!!, Double-shots in a few banks ..
They to don't know what to say when I ask to see the back-label of their keyboard !

Ha Peter, I can imagine it now... walk into bank... this is a hold up, put the keyboards into this sack! Surely the insanity defense would be a lock when arrested.
