Is the overclock issue unique to your card or is it common across Sparkles (or GTX 580s)?

Would you expect a significant operating difference compared to a GTX 560 Ti 2GB (EVGA)? I'm likely going to stick to my PCIe 2.0 board for a while but have been considering options for an upgrade from the 560 (other than SLI which will be unfeasible).

Would you mind informing us of the warranty status of the video card? Thanks.

Very interested.  Please notify us of the warranty, and if it's transferable and still good, then I'll highly consider taking it.  Thanks and happy holidays :)

Still a fantastic card at those speeds and that price. I'd love a second one but my psu isn't up for it

The card was purchased in March 2011. It has a three year warranty. I don't know if the warranty is transferable.

The instability with Crysis 2 didn't appear until I installed the DX11 upgrade/patch. This is a general problem that has been observed by other owners of overclocked GTX 580 cards. Here is a long thread on Nvidia's Geforce forum describing the problem: GTX 580 driver stops working/crashes in all recently released games. The solution to this problem with this card is to remove the overclock or overvolt the GPU.

I had a factory OC'd 560ti that was unstable unless it was underclocked or had its voltage upped.  The permanent fix was to RMA it though.

Still interested. I don't mind doing all that. Plus, it's a decent price.  Let me see if nVidia honors transferred warranty that is transferred.  If they only honor the receipt, would you send that along with the cooler as well so I could get coverage on it?  Thanks.

Sorry, sale of video card is pending.

Lol no worries.  Probably going to spring for a GTX 680 anyway after some research.  Thanks though.  Good luck :)
