FIXED I Magically fixed it by plugging in detachable cord. First keyboard I have ever owned that has a detachable cord. I wasn't going to post this because it is embarrassing but I don't a **** yo. Thug life.I was switching keycaps on my new keyboard and during that process I would hold down some of the keys for like 4-5 seconds. After fitting my new keycaps I tried using the keyboard and it wouldn't work
. There was a window that popped up because I held one of the keys for a long time, but I closed the widow not thing much of it. What the **** did I do wrong? Can someone please help me? I was replacing the F1 keys and tilde(`) to 0. I'm using another keyboard right now so obviously I did something to the other keyboard. Both keyboards are plugged in right now and one works and the other one is broken. I have no clue what I did or how to go about fixing it. I need your helps guys. Thanks!!!!
Edit: I tried unplugging and plugging it back it and I also restarted my computer and it didn't help.
Edit #2: The caps locks doesn't light up when I press it. Same with the Scroll lock.
Edit #3: I tried holding down the shift key and then both shift keys for several seconds. Tried holding down all the key individually for several seconds.
Edit #4: I tried using the PS2 adapter. No luck.
Edit #5:
When I plug in the keyboard that works there is a noise telling me that the keyboard was just plugged in. I don't get that sound when I plug in the broken keyboard. I also tried plugging the keyboard into another PC and it doesn't work.(These are all tips I read online)
Nothing is working.....
