Hello from Spain!
« on: Sat, 02 February 2013, 10:10:51 »
Hi all! I come from Spain and a few months ago I discovered the great world of mechanical keyboards and I love them! For now I have 2 model M, 3 cherry g80 mx mechanisms blue, black and clear, 1 Steelseries 7g and a CM with red, for now I have wanted to try a brown and seeing your GB is impossible to resist for buy something!

I hope to learn little by little, there is a lot of terminology I do not know and I hope I can help in any way possible! And my English is very poor sorry!

Greetings!

Welcome to Geekhack!

I wish I could speak Spanish as well as you can speak English.  Actually I don't know any Spanish at all - so there :p

You nace a nice keyboard collection :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Welcome!

If you like the IBM boards, you owe it to yourself to try the CM Storm Trigger with Cherry Greens.  Solid, clicky, but not too loud at all.  Would be my favorite keyboard if it didn't have a rubberized coating on the case and wrist-rest, but that's person preference for you.
