greetings from chicago
« on: Thu, 07 February 2013, 17:43:31 »
Hello to all! Just figured I'd finally join after lurking the forums for quite a while now. Back in 2008 I acquired a Steelseries 6G & haven't looked back since :) With a few more other boards in between, now I'm currently still using my trusty Filco MJ2 TKL MX browns. I came across GH when I was curiously searching keycaps and now it seems like I check here more often as I keep seeing shiny things  to buy from the classifieds.

I'm just here to share in the obsession, cheers to all wallethack individuals.

Welcome! Glad you decided to make an account and join in on all the discussions :)

What are you looking to get for your next keyboard? I suggest a poker :)

May I suggest waiting for the GH60 if you'd like to jump into a GB?

Awesome! But if you want the same thing, get in on the GH60 like SmallFry said!

It is going to be much better, I'll probably sell my poker once that GB opens up!

Welcome to Geekhack!

The shiniest things around at the moment are the girldc keycaps :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
