New in Box Model M 82G on ebay
« on: Sun, 17 February 2013, 15:59:54 »
Here is an example of an ebay seller who thinks that accepting all the "bells and whistles" for a listing will help it sell.

Like ebay wants, the opening bid is 99 cents - a bargain, right? wrong.

There is a "reserve" price (which the seller paid an extra tribute to ebay, for the privilege of using), which renders any lower bid meaningless. So why not just be straight and start at your actual minimum bid?

Then, there is the "Buy It Now" (for which the seller paid an another additional fee) price, which is all well and good, but which will go away as soon as a valid bid (ie a bid that is over the undisclosed reserve amount) is registered.

In my opinion, a fair price for this item is somewhere between $10 less than a new comparable Unicomp, and $10 more.

"We are on the precipice of signing an agreement to advance talks with Iran that preserves the good parts of former President Barack Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while amplifying its flaws.
Mr. Obama came to an agreement that did not involve America’s most precious treasure, the lives and limbs of our soldiers.  The 1.7 billion dollars of frozen Iranian assets released by Obama pales in comparison to the 300 billion being floated as a rebuilding fund.
So far, speculation that Iran will be free in the future to continue its nuclear program is the opposite of Trump’s stated goal for the war and in direct opposition to what Mr. Obama negotiated.
