I just finished talking with Darren from Netmercury.net and he said it would ship directly from DuPont  & arrive within 7-10 days. I placed the order (~$225 shipped), so now all that's left is to buy the bottles, a syringe, and packaging.

I'm purchasing the "normal bottles" linked on page 1 tomorrow or Wednesday (30 for ~$10 shipped), but I could use a little help with packaging. I'm very experienced with shipping items, have a scale, etc., but I'm not very familiar with mass mailing small packages. Lol maybe I shouldn't refer to 20-25 packages as "mass mailing". If anyone has info on where to pick up 20-25 small packets that will keep shipping down, it would be greatly appreciated. Staples, Office Depot, something else? Let me know.

After figuring in total costs of ~$250 (.5 KG of 103, bottles, packaging), selling one ounce for $15 + shipping and a half ounce for $7.50-$8 + shipping should not be a problem. I'm also not experienced with invoicing via Paypal and wondering what my options are here. I have quite a bit of positive feedback (See signature), can use both Amazon Payments (Zero fees) and Paypal, and would prefer to come out even, so feel free to gift if you're comfortable with that sort of thing. If you're not comfortable with that, we should be able to work something out when the time comes.

I will PM/Email people after I receive everything (7-10 days). Shipping will be ~$2 domestically and ~$7 internationally and I already posted the per ounce approximations above.
I don't intend to make any profit, but would also prefer to not lose a penny on this lol (I'm paying out of pocket for my portion as well). This is why I'm being up front with costs

Is that generally how this works even when one person is paying for everything up front? If so, do I lock this and start another in GB or simply change title to GB and ask a mod to move it?
My guess would be the later, but I have no idea

You do not need to put a warning of any kind on either the inside or outside of the packages. You just have to put a label on the bottles that reads "Krytox GPL 103", and if it's shipped international you have to put "Krytox GPL 103" on the customs form as well.

You WILL have to lie to the post office clerk when they ask if there are any liquids in your packages. Oil and grease are liquids.

Already got the labels covered but WOW, the telling them about liquid thing is only for international right?
I don't want to lie about that lol, not for moral reasons, but I don't want to get in trouble

Edit: lol wait you have got to be messing with me. Put "Krytox GPL 103" on the customs form, but lie and say there are no liquids?? That doesn't even make sense.

When you check out online, it says the following, and I don't see any conflicts with GPL 103

I am completely serious. No matter where you ship Krytox oils and greases you have to lie that there are no liquids (God help you if you don't lie...). The customs people have no idea what Krytox is, but as long as the bottles and customs form match you're golden.

I've had similar experiences shipping engine oil for analysis.  I even brought a letter prepared by the company but they refused.

I just went to PostNet (local place that offers shipping service) and they said it would not be a problem shipping lubricants first class via USPS.
They also told me I can bring it in pre-labeled, pay a few dollars and they'll make sure it gets delivered, so I guess worse case scenario I let them lie

Its a matter of finding a postal worker that cares at all.  I brought mine to a different post office and it was fine.  Technically, materials with a flash point above 200 degrees are nkt considered hazardous.  You will need to place the bottle in a zip lock bag to prevent leakage.  Many of the workers don't want to be bothered and just say no.  Same with normal international shipping...the workers are not trained at all...you just have to know who knows or figure it out yourself.

This pretty much summarizes what the guy at PostNet said. I think I'm just going to have them do it even if I lose a few dollars in the process.

Also, Krytox is not flammable, it's flash point is N/A, and its non-hazardous unless you inhale it at Thermal decomposition temperature (350C lol?) according to the MSDS linked above. I think we're going to be okay with shipping

Make sure to charge enough so that you don't lose any money. Do them maths yo. After I 'eventually' meet up with inlikeflynn and get his payment I will be positive a few dollars as I rounded the price up. But I am negative until then as I did my GB not for profit. I will probably add ~$1 onto every tube/bottle next time as packaging is a pain in the ass... (At least the way I did it. 3 layers of bubble wrap, 1 layer of cardboard, and finally the outside bubble mailer. Damn near puncture proof!)

I was shipping something out last week and when the lady asked me if there are any fluids in the package I said no. And then she said "Well it's not like you're gonna say yes even if there is, are ya?" lol (I wasn't shipping out fluids though)

Because I was asked to do so by a mod, but more importantly people could change the amounts they want. Don't worry, I should be shipping this stuff out early next week.
I also need to go over payment methods, because some people have told me they'd prefer to gift me via Paypal, others would like to pay via Amazon payments, and some others want to pay via invoice and get hit with fees.
